İrem Karaca

Hi, I’m İrem! I am a Master’s student in Machine Learning at the University of Tübingen and a research-oriented master’s scholar at ELIZA. I work as a research assistant at the ELLIS Institute Tübingen on the AIS project, an open-source AI tutoring platform, in the team led by Wieland Brendel.

Before moving to Germany, I studied Computer Engineering at Koç University in İstanbul and spent some time in Brussels. My academic interests focus on AI Safety & Alignment and LLMs.

Beyond academics, I love creating content, doing sports, traveling, and living an experience-focused life. I’m also a coffee enthusiast, I love making and drinking coffee. This website is my space to share the things I’m excited about, the experiences that shape me, and the ideas that inspire my work.
